DocuMed was established as a subsidiary of Bavel Translation Services, a translation company offering translations in a large variety of fields, in more than 40 languages. Considering the several fields of documents for translation, great consideration is given to the importance of the professional and academic background of the translator selected for each translation project. The idea of concentrating on translation of medical material was suggested by the company's founder, a doctor.
